House of Pod Wants to Know...Are you a woman of color with an original idea for a podcast? Or do you know someone who fits this description?From the Margins to the Center is the first podcast incubator of its kind in Denver, Colorado. This month-long program will take place at House of Pod in Denver, Colorado for 28 contact hours of podcast instruction. The program will include a keynote session with  Juleyka Lantigua-Williams, who founded an independent production company, weekly classes, a membership to the House of Pod recording studio, and access to open drop-in sessions. Additionally, participants will be paired with leading women producers of color as their mentors. For more information, visit this website.

The EarBuds Pitch! competition is designed to give established indie talent and emerging podcasters the opportunity to pitch their big ideas at the Outlier Podcast Festival in Austin, TX on May 17th; Denver, CO on July 12; and Los Angeles, CA in September (Date TBD). Our festival is a two-day event, with the pitch competition on Friday night to set the mood for innovation and excitement for the rest of the festival.
