It's Monday! Usually, this newsletter goes out on Sundays. Due to a combination of factors — being locked out of my computer, a friend's wedding (mazel, Frieds!), and traveling to London — I wasn't able to get you your weekly dose of recommendations on time. And for that, I apologize. But, I wonder. Would you rather get this email on Mondays? Please let me know by replying to this email. If I get more than 100 responses saying YES, I'D RATHER GET THIS EMAIL ON MONDAY, then a change shall be made. (And I'll send an EarBuds t-shirt to the first five people who respond either way).In the meantime, happy listening! Oh, and if you're in London for The Podcast Show, let's get together.-- Arielle Nissenblatt, EarBuds Founder

Why did you choose this theme?
Sex and death have always mystified me, and the two seem to be intertwined in some rather surprising ways. I chose this theme because sex and death are ever-present in everyone's lives, but we're not always aware of them. And I'm curious about what we can learn from these topics in a spiritual sense.

🎤The Greatest Song Ever Sung (Poorly) is the podcast that takes karaoke *exactly* as seriously as it should be taken. In every episode, hosts Adam Wainwright and Ed Cunard discuss an aspect of karaoke or music and play a short round of trivia on that topic. Then, they're joined by someone (karaoke hosts and singers, musicians, actors, comedians, authors) with a connection to that topic, and feature that guest singing karaoke when possible.🎙️Sarah's aim in Live Well Be Well with Sarah Ann Macklin is to help high-achieving performers improve their health and well-being. WISE INTERN RECOMMENDATION:EarBuds founder Arielle Nissenblatt is mentoring four high school seniors from The Leffell School this semester. They recently launched a Substack and podcast called Slapstick Sports. For the next few weeks, they'll each recommend a podcast they're enjoying.
I strongly recommend Spittin Chiclets, hosted by Paul Bissonnette, Ryan Whitney, and Brian “Rear Admiral” McGonagle. As a big hockey fan, I love to listen to what these big personalities have to say about the sport. While their main focus is on hockey, they also like to touch on other sports, as in their most recent episode they interviewed NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley. This passion-filled and hilarious podcast, along with the amazing chemistry between the three hosts, offers a diverting and pleasurable listen at any time of day.- Joey Bond
