Why this theme?
👉🏽 Lately, with all the political tension, I’ve been turning to some podcasts that really help when the world’s problems start to feel a little too heavy.
These shows are a great way to take a breather from the constant news cycle, and they always leave me feeling a bit more hopeful — reminding me about the importance of kindness, human connection, and seeing things from a fresh perspective.

Blue Sky podcast cover art | A podcast about optimism? I’m in! This episode brings on the incredible Theodore Johnson, columnist for the Washington Post and NY Times, retired Navy Commander, and former Obama-era speechwriter. He shares his views on optimism, our founding fathers' values, and how his family's fight against racism fuels his hope for the future. |
What Could Go Right? podcast cover art | As you can see, I’m a fan of Bill Burke, host of Blue Sky, and I loved his guest appearance on What Could Go Right? This time, the mic is turned on him and he talks about how the younger generation holds incredible potential for shaping the future. |
Future Hindsight podcast cover art | This episode highlights how ballot measures let voters take direct action on issues that matter to their communities. It was a great reminder of how powerful grassroots movements can be when citizens come together to make real policy changes. |
Bewildered podcast cover art | If you tend to struggle with letting go of control, this episode was a great reminder not to let external factors dictate your emotions. |
Arts Educators Save the World podcast cover art | You really can't go wrong with any episode from this show, which beautifully highlights the impact of education and mentorship in shaping young lives. When people are encouraged to express themselves freely, they not only thrive but also develop a deeper connection to the talents and beauty in others. Every episode leaves you feeling inspired and uplifted. |
