GET IN TOUCH: Facebook | Twitter SHAMELESS PROMO: I got involved in memory competitions several years ago and have been fortunate to win three world memory championships. I've taken some of the techniques applied by competitive memorizers and transitioned them for use in practical learning (e.g., in medical school). My wife and I created a nonprofit, Mullen Memory, where we share our experiences using memory techniques for medicine and other things. CROWDSOURCING QUESTION: What's the weirdest thing you've memorized? HASHTAG FOR DISCUSSION: #Memory

Janey Williams (host of the This Happened podcast) wants to shoutout KCRW's Bodies podcast.
This Happened: A common response to a woman coming forward about sexual assault is no response at all. Beyond the failings of law enforcement and the court system to provide justice, it is, perhaps most painfully, family and friends that let victims down. “This Happened” is one woman’s exploration of this phenomenon.
Bodies: explores the forces of history, society, and identity that shape women's health and affect the way the medical community treats people. For so long, women's health has been under-represented and overlooked. So often, our stories have gone untold and our questions have gone unanswered. This podcast is part of a movement to change that.
Shoutout to Podcast Movement and Podcast Haven for the cool things you do.
