Vanessa Cicarelli read Doe and she and her husband/filmmaking partner, Jason Greer, made the documentary film She to highlight Aimée’s work. 

Forgotten: Women of JuarezA Cross-Border Killer? In this episode we learn of Diana Washington Valdez, a journalist tirelessly investigating the murders of women in Ciudad Juarez in northern Mexico. This episode presents the excruciating pain of one family, recent newcomers to Juarez, who came to work in the maquiladoras (foreign-run factories) and lost a daughter to violence. Her name was Sagrario González Flores and her murder remains unsolved.
