Five episodes on a theme, each week curated by a different person

Hey, EarBuds! We'd love to learn more about YOU. Do you host a podcast?

Curator:

Why did you choose this theme?

Health design is a relatively new field of practice within the fields of design and medicine. Health designers can be highly trained architects, product designers, or graphic designers as well as clinicians, patients. Health design seeks to approach any challenge—for patients, healthcare workers, hospitals, healthcare institutions, and communities. An emerging body of literature supports why design thinking is important for companies particularly amplified by COVID and structural racism.

PODCAST SPOTLIGHT:

You're Wrong AboutMike and Sarah are journalists obsessed with the past. Every week they reconsider an event, person or phenomenon that’s been miscast in the public imagination.

You may have heard of this pod, it’s a good one. I hadn’t listened to it in a while, but revisited it with the episode “Tammy Faye Bakker [Baker] and Jessica Hahn.” I recently watched the trailer for a movie called “The Eyes of Tammy Faye” and was instantly intrigued. This episode unleashed a lot of...well, interesting information. It talks about empire that was the Christian Television program called the PTL club, and its demise. There’s a whole of sex, drug, and financial scandals, as well as a surprisingly feminist message. Each of their episodes is a trip. Check it out!

This week’s spotlight was chosen by our newsletter and podcast coordinator, Maya Rubin.
