 Los Angeles EarBuds - Come with me to see Kelly McEvers, host of the NPR's Embedded, for an evening of live storytelling, audience participation, and conversation about police videos. These are the grainy body-cam and dash-cam videos we keep seeing in the news. The audience will serve as a mock jury, and McEvers will invite civil rights activist and lawyer Connie Rice to the stage for a conversation after the story. Here's how EarBuds works: Each week, a theme is chosen by one of our Podcast Leads. That Lead finds 5 podcast episodes (from anywhere!) to go along with that theme. I send these emails out on Sunday nights and the idea is to listen to one episode on each day of the week, Monday through Friday. Totally up to you how much or how little you listen -- but keep in mind: this is an exercise in expanding perspectives. You can listen to these podcasts by clicking on the links below or you can find (most of) them on your favorite podcast app (iTunes, Stitcher, Overcast...)
