WHY THIS THEME?: I'm really interested in history, especially in those watershed moments where something new is happening that was previously regarded as impossible. I wanted to look at different things that had at one time been unquestionable; from artistic norms, and the systems that created art, to international political and economic systems with an eye towards what happened leading up to and in the aftermath of when those systems finally broke, what that unleashed and freed into the culture. I want the listener to come away wondering what will be next. What assumption of the modern world do we take for granted will be the next to fall, and what will that change about the world?
