Changed Ever After: Life After Divorce or Separation

Known as “The Change Coach”, EarBuds curator Marceia helps people navigate change — and the grief and sense of loss that often comes with change — with confidence. Self-care is the goal most people have committed to for 2023, but dealing with grief and the sense of loss that comes with change are THE most often overlooked areas of focus! Especially for Blacks, who experience many of the seemingly “common” life events compounded, which most often lead to a major health breakdown within two years.

In this episode, Marceia brings you four relatable examples to look to, to get past the isolation that can come with divorce and separation.

Brown Ambition with Mandy and Tiffany Defining Your Own Ambition Tiffany "The Budgetnista" Aliche and Mandi Woodruff host this Webby-award winning show that has remained one of the top finance podcasts amongst people of color for 5 years. In this episode, Tiffany starts by recapping her Kenya trip, where Brown Ambition got some major love, and Mandi shares her travel plans for this year. Then, the ladies share their thoughts on the new "MLK" statue and spoke about their favorite Golden Globes moment. Before break, they discuss "non compete" agreements and what's appropriate when signing them. For this week's boost or break, Tiffany boosts for a phenomenal experience she had in Kenya involving helping young teen moms. Mandi boosts for defining your own ambition.

Therapy For Black GirlsSession 284: ICYMI, Understanding Seasonal Affective DisorderHost Dr. Joy Harden Bradford, a licensed psychologist, creates a space to present mental health topics in a way that feels more accessible and relevant to Black women. 🎤This week in Podcast The Newsletter: In a Q&A, Lauren Passell interviewed Sequoia Holmes, the host of Black People Love Paramore. 💭Memory Wars is a six-part series about how Germany has confronted its horrific past and whether America could ever do the same. Public radio reporter Mallory Noe-Payne spent years covering policy and politics in Richmond, Virginia — the former capital of the Confederacy. Then she went to Germany. In this 6-part series, Mallory interviews a wide range of characters, including Haley in Part 3: Haley's Story. Haley's ancestors are Holocaust survivors. But she's chosen to return to Germany anyway. We follow her journey to reclaim the things stolen from her family — an identity and a homeland.
