Ever wonder what goes into a podcast website that works?

Whether you’re a podcaster, a consumer, or (probably) both, you’ve interacted with a podcast website along the way.

What does it mean for a website to work? I spoke with Jay Ray of Queue Points Podcast recently on the topic, a. because his website is gorgeous, and b. because he was the perfect person to outline the idea that a podcast website is more than just a place for your show to live. It can be a membership pipeline, a merch staging ground, a testing ground for marketing ideas, and more.

Women's health experiences are routinely dismissed. Their pain goes unbelieved, their diagnoses get missed, and stigma keeps them silent. As well, many female-led diseases have been understudied and underfunded. These 5 episodes name what's happening and give women the language, tools, and understanding to change it.

They are all incredible health advocates that are helping to bring awareness and honesty to the conversation. It's an honor to be in this field and to connect with such amazing women fighting for women.

Spotlight Podcast

We Are North Nashville

We recently marked 70 years since the Federal-Aid Highway Act was signed into law, which set the stage for the state of Tennessee to send I-40 straight into the heart of North Nashville, a once thriving and self-contained Black community.

In this episode, we meet Representative Harold Love Jr., whose family home on Scovel Street was demolished along with Thomas Wilson Jr.'s, to make way for I-40. It also highlights the enduring contributions and reclaiming of the elders who lived in North Nashville before the highway ripped through it, and who remain there in far more ways than one, today.
